up - before the alarm clock rang. didn't sleep much. baby jeanne
slept only at two. i was tired... |

thought
it was too early for school. so i worked on my mountains webpage. |

cycled
to school coz i had to return mr mah's bicycle. |
| 7:00am.
|
arrived
at school - tired. bad idea to cycle when i was going on a hike
on the same day. even worse - i had not cycled in a year and so
had some sore thigh muscles. |

departed
school. destination gunung datuk. i had to drive. horrible journey!
made a wrong turn just before the seremban highway. |
| 9:12am.

arrived
at rembau. then couldn't remember the route clearly; had to stop
a while to figure it out. wasted precious time... |
| 9:32am.

trek
began. wanted to walk slowly. so many new trekker were slow. decided
to trot ahead with the leading pack. along the way, i ran a little.
bad idea! suffered mild indisgestion, was quite tired and felt like
throwing up - probably the after effects of cycling and running
on quite an empty stomach. had to stop for about 15 minutes. |

finally
reached at the peak. took me a little longer than the last time
i was here. felt spent. the view didn't make me feel better. it
was so misty. The air cleared up a bit a while later, and the town
in the valley came into view. but the sight didn't warrant any panaromic
shots. the trek was a day hike - didn't bring any solid food. ate
some pringles Amos brought up. bern made me a slice of tuna sandwich
- devoured it quickly. finished one of my small bottles (325ml)
of water. too tired to mingle with the new trekkers - still don't
know any of them. |
| 12:12pm.

descent.
forgot to bring my knee guard. afraid to hurt my knee, i had to
walk very very slowly down the mountain. nee on and sze ning were
ahead of me. Amos, Bang Qin and Craig folowed behind. |

saw
the bunch of sunway college students who are going to tahan along
the way. they were going to camp at gunung datuk. the group didn't
look very impressive. will have to decide if they can join our tahan
trek team. |

finally
at the base. took me a long time. and probably 7 minutes after,
i had to drive again. |

both
passengers in my car slept soundly. infected me with drowsiness
- felt so sleepy. stopped at the seremban stop to wash my face.
told mae sze about it, but she decided she would drive on ahead
of me. |

arrived at school. |

found
out that mr mah took a wrong road. and ms ng followed the wrong
van and got lost. could not help them, so decided to go home. |

home.
happy. hungry. sleepy. |
